A.K. Fatah is the Director and Chief Coordinator of the NGTM Board (Negizhi Masilla Tamil Nadu Movement), a pioneering educational and environmental movement dedicated to creating a Plastic Pollution-Free Tamil Nadu while empowering students to become responsible global citizens.

Under his leadership, NGTM has evolved into one of the state's largest student-driven initiatives about the plastic pollution, inspiring thousands of young minds through innovation, sustainability, research, leadership, and community engagement.

With a vision to transform education beyond classrooms, A.K. Fatah has been instrumental in conceptualizing and developing the NGTM ecosystem—from statewide environmental campaigns about the hazardous of plastic and student leadership programs to international academic collaborations and global conclaves.

His focus has always been to provide students with meaningful opportunities to showcase their talents, develop innovative ideas, and interact with experts, policymakers, researchers, and international delegates.

🌍 10-Lakh Students Environmental Pledge about the Plastic Pollution Free Tamilnadu– 14 November 2019

This landmark initiative demonstrated the power of collective student participation and established his vision of using the education system and young generation as a driving force for environmental and social change about the Plastic Pollution.

👍 Thumbsup Campaign – 1 Lakh School Students – 14 November 2024

On 14 November 2024, Mr. A. K. Fatah spearheaded the Thumbsup Campaign, bringing together 1 lakh (100,000) school students in a unified campaign for the Plastic Pollution Free Tamilnadu.

The initiative reflected his continued commitment to creating large-scale student movements and engaging young people in meaningful social and environmental initiatives.

NGTM CONCLAVE MALAYSIA - 2026
